CRPA + CRPA-P Certification (50 Hours Total)

Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) and Certified Recovery Peer Advocate-Provisional (CRPA-P) required foundational training:

  • CCAR’s Recovery Coach Academy© Training- 30 hours

  • Ethical Considerations for Recovery Peer Advocates in a Recovery-Oriented System of Care (ROSC) – 16 hours

  • Medication Supported Recovery Training - 4 hours minimum

 Both the Recovery Coach and Ethics training courses are approved foundational programs required for initial certification as a Certified Recovery Peer Advocate (CRPA) and the CRPA-Provisional by the InUnity Alliance’s NY Certification Board.

You may also elect to obtain the Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) Certification by completing these 50 hours and supplementing them with 10 additional NYCB-approved training hours.
